SoftSource Consulting's Software Architects work closely with our customers to architect and lead the implementation and deployment of software solutions on the Microsoft platform.

• Stay current on the state of the art of development on the Microsoft platform.
• Architect desktop, Web, and mobile solutions for our customers.
• Lead Architecture Design Sessions with our customers.
• Lead development teams from one to ten people implementing solutions on the Microsoft platform.
• Serve as a technical guide and mentor for our customers.

• 10 years of experience developing software on the Microsoft platform.
• Proven knowledge of system analysis and large scale application development.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft platform, .NET, and C#.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
• Data modeling and database design experience with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies (including eXtreme Programming).
• A sense of humor.

• Project leadership experience.
• MCSD.NET certification.
• Knowledge of C++, COM, and COM+.
• Expertise developing secure applications.
• Experience with technical training or presenting.

• Bachelor’s degree required, Computer Science major strongly preferred.

• Full-time
• This position requires occasional travel in the Pacific Northwest.
• This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
